ABOUT ME

I'll introduce myself as, Ms. Rosalyn Fleming. A mother of three beautiful children (Tameaka, John & Antonia), and a Nana to Samarah, Dasia & Amiyah, and they are a handful! I'm an active member of Shekinah Glory Worship Ministries under the Shepard ship of Pastor William Watkins Sr. & Pastor Yolanda Watkins.
In our Father's house, I minister as a Praise dancer and Gatekeeper. I am also the founder and Co-Administrator of the Facebook page, 'StandUp Community Outreach' along with Orlando Fogle, which promotes individual empowerment, community, and cultural awareness; I've been called for the purpose of empowering, uplifting people of all ages.

Affectionately known as ‘Ma’ to several young men and women; my heart is definitely for the Joshua generation and those to come. I've been birthing a book since my younger years but became afraid of failing, so I pumped the brakes on the project. Still, through the years that little spark would kindle.

I've tasted the sweetness of co-authoring a few collaborative projects, “Fragmented Heart Healers” (2009), "The 50 on Fire Project" (2019), and "The Breaking to Brilliance (2019). Now, "for such a time as this,” it’s time for me to walk in and own it! Life experiences have definitely prepared me for my passion in writing. My personal testimony of trials, triumph & spiritual growth book, "Letter's to My Sista's...it was Never about Me'' will move forward in 2021.

I've studied at the College of Southern Maryland and University of Maryland University College in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science in Women’s Studies (2021) in preparation to pursue dreams of becoming a change agent within the local communities. I also have dreams of owning and running a Juvenile group home and/or Homeless Shelter for men & women. God has graced me to be transparent in my walk and will be the first to say, God is still working on me and I'm in heavy pursuit to see what the end will be!
Psalms 91, is the scripture I hide in my heart; I truly believe God has done the new thing in my life.

THE BREAKING TO BRILLIANCE

I’m excited & honored to present my latest collaborative effort to this platform. 15 amazing stories celebrating the victory over trials and tragedies. Victory over attacks of the enemy and what was meant for evil, God turned it! Fifteen phenomenal women, whose personal stories are destined to empower and change lives because we are all overcome by our testimonies! My story, 'Guilt of a Mother.' I raised three children and the constant emotional conflict and condemnation, I endured, each has their own story.
The devil thought he had me, and them. I had to get to know the God I served and understand how to wage war against the enemy and intercede for my children.
A testimony for those who're WAITING on a prayer to be answered: All my life I’ve said to anyone who would listen, “I’m writing a book!” I wanted this life, prayed for it but once I understood it was never about me... is when the real journey began...God waited for such a time as this! My first literary effort of healing, this must be my calling, ten years later I'm doing it again. This book contains twenty-seven testimonies of strength, courage, faith, and triumph. My story is of a young woman trapped between emotional and physical pain. Married but is she happy, does she even know what it looks like? In her flesh, she is adulterous and wild. This is a story of a woman lost in disappointment, adultery, and her own self-destruction. What lies beneath her pain? How does she find her way or does she?
